Shahrukh Khan started his career as a actor working in some daily soap shows named Dil Dariya, Circus, Fauji, Wagle Ki Duniya etc. From working in Television shows to becoming the biggest bollywood star, Shahrukh Khan has come a long way.

In 1995, Shahrukh Khan gave the biggest hit of his career Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) alongside Kajol which became the biggest hit of their career. Not only Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, DDLJ gave wings to the careers of other actors such as Mandira Bedi and Parmeet Sethi who were seen in the film in a supportive role. DDLJ was the debut film for Aditya Chopra who was trying to step into Bollywood as a director.
It was in 1999 when he got title of Badshah Khan or Badshah of Bollywood after his superhit film Badshah. It was a action comedy film directed by Abbas-Mustan. The duo of Shahrukh Khan and Johnny Lever was highly praised and the film became one of the highest grossers of his career. The lead actress Twinkle Khanna also got a massive boost in her career as a actress after this film.

When you are one of the biggest film star in this world, it is true that controversies will make his way up to you by any means. Shahrukh Khan was also into some big controversies in his career. Probably the biggest controversies of his career was the most famous Khan-fight with his Karan Arjun co-actor Salman Khan which was most talked about topic in the media for several years. Now both the actors are close friends and can be spotted together many times. Shahrukh Khan has also been on many other controversies like getting banned from Wankhede Stadium, slapping Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder.
The most recent controversy surrounding him was the Aryan Khan drug case in which his son Aryan Khan and his friends were caught red handed by NCB with drugs in a cruise ship. This case hampered his time and reputation he earned over the years. But at the end, Aryan Khan was released in bail and things are now totally normal with his life.
